SeSamE tAro (4 SeRvinGs):



IngrEdienTs:
300g diced yam (steam until soft and mash with fork)
100g Tapioca Starch
1 tbsp icing sugar
~1 cup of warm water
Sesame (sorry, forget to capture the photo)

Pour the warm water into the tapioca starch and stir with spoon until it become paste.

Add in the mash yam into the tapioca starch paste and knead it until it form a dough (~5 mins). Add in the icing sugar and it might be a bit sticky. Keep kneading the dough for about 2 mins.

Shape the dough into a small ball shape and slightly press in the middle. Boil a pot of water and put in the shaped taro ball. Make sure it is not stick to each other.

When the taro ball is cooked, you will see it starts peel off from the pots.

Coat the yam ball with sesame and sprinkle with some icing sugar.
