Yam RiCe(4 SeRvinGs)



Ingredients:
250g diced yam
200g uncooked rice
50g of dry prawn (soak in water fro 20 mins)
5 cloves of garlic
5 shallots
some scallions
1 table spoon of dark soy sauce
2 table spoon of soy sauce
some pepper

Fry the sliced shallots until golden brown.

Add in 6 Table spoon of oil followed by chopped garlic. Add in the dry shrimp before the garlic turn into brown. Stir fry until both become golden brown.

Add in the diced yam and continue stir fry for 1 min. Add in the uncooked rice and stir fry for 1-2 mins. Add in the dark soy sauce and keep stirring. When the rice seems easily broken (you can taste the rice), Add in soy sauce and pepper.
Put all those ingredients into rice cooker and add in some water. Not too much as long as it is able to cover all the ingredients. Cook those ingredients in the rice cooker.

When it's done, sprinkle fry shallots and cut scallions on the rice and it is ready to be served.
